We have received the following comment from W.I. on 28th December 2007. He and his wife have arranged apartments with Bahama Bay Vacation Rentals on two occasions and on both have stayed in our own San Salvador apartment.

"I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how well we enjoyed our stay at Bahama Bay over the Thanksgiving holidays. It was our second visit to the Resort in the past year and the apartment was exactly as advertised.

We may be back in the Orlando area again next spring and so I'll definitely drop you a line to see if you have any availability."

If you are traveling in 2008, by whatever means, I hope your journeys go well and above all that you travel safely.

Remember if traveling by car do not drink and drive. Also remember to use your seat belt on all occasions.

There has been little change this month. There are 42 apartments for sale across all types and just one sale has closed this month. That was for an Abacos property which was advertised for sale at $164950 and sold for $152000.

The cheapest apartment is now $135000 and that is a San Salvador type.

As you might expect at this time of year the market is sluggish and still being effected by confidence issues caused by the collapse of the sub prime market and dropping market values. Inventory in the area is high and there is plenty to chose from. You could say that this is an excellent time to buy if you have the cash available as some good property can be picked up cheaply. As long as you can keep that property for some time then history suggests that in the long run you will make a profit on it.

Following the work on the Front Desk at the Club House it is now the turn of some of the buildings to have a lick of paint.

Buildings One through Nine are having the white paintwork on them freshened up. This has not caused any inconvenience to guests despite the use of a cherry picker for the highest points.

The work is well advanced and I would expect it to be completed by the end of the month or very early 2008.

This confirms the commitment of the HOA to the Resort and their efforts to keep the appearance at a high standard for the overall benefit of the guests.

We have been advised that the Resort is fully booked for the nights of December 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th, 2007.
